Update 0.5 unit ranking
Anime Squadron Tier List
This tier list ranks units by practical value: how much they help you clear stages, speed up farming, survive harder waves, and make your squad easier to upgrade.
Anime Squadron unit ranking
| Tier | Unit | Role | Use case |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Gometa | Main DPS | Late-game carry; prioritize when you need a reliable damage core. |
| Berserker | Main DPS | High damage option that can anchor harder stages. | |
| Woo | Speed DPS | Strong for fast clears and farming routes. | |
| Puppeteer | Tank / sustain | Useful when stages punish fragile lineups. | |
| Falcon | Sub DPS / economy | Valuable because economy boosts make upgrades smoother. | |
| Shanron | Utility | Adds useful crowd control and support value. | |
| Madora | Boss damage | Best considered for boss-focused clears. | |
| Shinks | Support | Team damage and stall utility make it flexible. | |
| Fastwagon | Economy | Core income unit; helps almost every progression route. | |
| Skeleton Knight | Tank | Strong defensive option for harder waves. | |
| A | Karashi | Speed | Good early-to-mid farming unit. |
| Vegata SSJ4 | Sub DPS | Worth building when progressing toward stronger fusion-style options. | |
| Goki SSJ4 | Sub DPS | Useful mid-game investment and progression piece. | |
| Shield Hero | Tank | Reliable until stronger tank options come online. | |
| Rudaus | Support | Cooldown-oriented support for smoother clears. | |
| B | Caska | DPS | Usable early; avoid heavy long-term investment. |
| Big Beard | Tank | Solid starter tank if you have no premium option. | |
| Rizzuto | Sub DPS | Fine bridge unit for early boss attempts. | |
| Mamosa | Healer | Useful while learning, weaker as damage scaling rises. | |
| Zemitsu | DPS | Good enough for early speed and story clears. |
How to read the tiers
- S tier units are worth building around because they solve a major job: carry damage, economy, tanking, support, or fast farming.
- A tier units are strong enough to invest in while you work toward the best options.
- B tier units help early progression but should not consume your rarest resources unless you have no alternative.
For a new account, economy and upgrade flow often matter more than a single flashy DPS. A team that can place units, upgrade consistently, and survive waves will progress faster than a team with one carry and no support.
