Reroll smarter
Anime Squadron Traits Guide
Traits can make a strong unit feel broken, but rerolling too early can drain resources before you know which units you will keep. Use role fit, stage need, and upgrade path before committing.
When to reroll traits
- Reroll after you know a unit will stay in your squad.
- Prioritize main carry, economy, and tank units before temporary fillers.
- Stop once the trait fits the unit's job; perfect rolls are expensive.
- Recheck the current update before spending after a balance patch.
Match traits to roles
| Unit role | Trait goal |
|---|---|
| Main DPS | Damage, attack speed, crit, boss uptime |
| Economy | Income consistency or low-investment value |
| Tank | Survivability, sustain, mitigation |
| Support | Cooldown, utility uptime, team value |
| Speed farmer | Clear speed and low setup time |
Safe reroll checklist
Use rare rerolls only after checking the unit role, your current team gap, whether the unit scales into later stages, and whether a recent update changed the meta. If any answer is unclear, hold the resource.
